Education Specialist: Terri Thames, BSN
Terri attended the University of Oklahoma and University of Maryland, where she received her Bachelor's of Nursing degree. After graduation, she served for 3 years as a Captain in the Army Nurse Corps where she worked in the areas of orthopedics, psych, med-surg and finally, Critical Care. Terri remained in ICU nursing for 22 years, with many of those years here at OSU Medical Center. She began working as an Education Specialist at OSU Medical Center in 2006, although she had been an educator within the hospital setting since 1986. She loves to teach with in-depth coverage of the topic at hand, while sharing her personal nursing experiences...some dramatic and funny and some embarrassing...but all shared to make a point.
Terri teaches: Rhythm ACLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, Rythm Review, 12 Lead EKG, and Hemodynamics for the Critical Care Nurse.

Mary then worked for 18 years as a charge nurse in the Critical Care Unit. Since 2001, Mary accepted an Education Specialist position and earned her Master's Degree in Nursing Education. Mary enjoys teaching in a way that combines subject knowledge, practical application to make the material "real" for the students and always, always, always...a tad of humor.
Mary teaches: BLS, ACLS, and Conscious Sedation.
Education Administrative Assistant: Vivian Dugger
